"Men at forty Learn to close softly The doors to rooms they will not be Coming back to"
"Men at forty Learn to close softly The doors to rooms they will not be Coming back to"

I'm intrigued and pensive about the fragility of life, seemingly held together with wire and string. And those doors that we once opened quickly and slammed shut when we were done are given a little more care and thought.

The title comes from the first lines of a poem by Donald Justice, written in 1967.
